Adam Wilt at Pro Video Coalition has just put his FS100 review online.
It is a must read even for us old timers with the camera. Adam gets into
the details and has great side by side resolving comparisons with the F3 and AF100.

Adam goes to town on RIGGING OPTIONS and 3rd party testing too. Some nice love for me and Carlos!

I'll soon be sending Adam a box full of this winters NEW PRODUCTS from Shooting Machine.
See y'all at NAB!!

Way to go Adam....good usable info from the perspective of a real shooter - not a marketing team. The FS100 is a surprise success story in my eyes. From the outside the camera is just so ugly at first glance, it's hard to give it a chance to see what it can do for $5k. As far as bang for the buck goes - the FS100 is a leader.

Agreed Carlos, it's 90% result for 25% cost. In other words- a rare good deal.

Hey I owe you a cheeseplate man, I actually had an unexpected supply problem with those but
we're good again and I'll pop one out to you this week. Talk soon,

In this review, Adam talks about a way to sync two FS100 using LANC connection. This is new to me. Someone know how to do that?

Adam was real favorable about the Shotgrip and clamps in this great review. His one niggle is that he had to tighten the "bejesus" out of the clamps at times. He's talking about one specific application that the clamps were never designed for. What he means is when you "double up" two clamps together to fly a short rod sideways for a monitor or EVF. This is the law of unintended consequences engineering wise- these clamps were never meant to be used this way, but I am the culprit. It's about the first thing I did after we made them. It just works. My video is careful to show how to tighten these down with a pair of pliers. If you do it this way they lock in nice and there is no bejesus involved ; )

So other than this "double gainer" the clamps lock down super easy and hold like a junk yard dog. They were made to hold kit not fly arms - but you can fly arms of them cause they strong!! Watch the video and USE PLIERS!
