New eng lens for f3

[dtwdit]

I'm a little hesitant to post this because it is expensive. My last post was met with such disdain because the viewfinder was deemed too expensive by fellow forum readers. To save time the lens is listing at $38,0000.00 so if that's too much don't bother clicking the link.

That is CHEAP for a S35 PL lens with a freaking SERVO zoom.

Yep thats damn cheap for that kinda lens, Im glad to see someone making these now. I would LOVE to see more lenses move towards the PL mount, theres still a small amount and the cheapest lenses are pretty much the Sony 35-50-85, but they never finished the set... or made them available to buy alone... Hoping to see the prices go down somewhat on all glass.

Servo is pretty darn cool for a PL mount, I dont think I've ever seen that (besides the ones you can mount on yourself). T2.9 aint bad either, not really fast but a decent stop for consistency in a zoom. Its not Alura, but then again... those weight a ton, I should know, I shoot with them.

I would love to see its quality and its feel and boka it could be a great lens to replace everything in a kit IF it had great quality. People paying for the Sony Zoom might safe some cash by selling their primes if they aren't fast primes.

Is the focal length rated with the 35mm standard?

Mitch answered my question and it's rated in the 35mm standard.

Thanks Mitch!

What exactly do you mean? Millimeters are millimeters.
