New DVX...what do I need?

I just bought my new (used) DVX100A. I have only the bare essentials (maybe even missing some stuff) :
[FONT=Verdana, Helvetica, Arial] 2 Batteries
1 Adapter
1 Remote Control
also a [/FONT][FONT=Verdana, Helvetica, Arial]Libec L-22 with a T-58 fluid pan head on it.

I know I need some tapes--but what would be considered essential and/or just good to have (like a 35mm adapter, etc)

I'll be the first to ask -- what are you going to be using it for (weddings, outdoor, porn, indie films?).

I'd get a case and a uv filter to protect that lens. Those would be the less expensive accessories.

Then look at what you are going to need for audio and lighting. By all means, please check the individual forums' stickies on recommendations there. You could ruin a great video if the audio sucks. Spend some money on good mics.

Yup, a "UV protection filter" is the first thing you need to buy. (it has that name for a reason!)

Yes, you defenetely need some good mics, thats 50% of a film. Crap won't do!
