I think your music video prices are a little cheap as well as your wedding prices. I notice its said 3 cameras one static two moving. What cameras are you using to shoot wedding if you dont mind me asking?

Nick,

I use a Nikon D70 currently, but will soon be switching to a Canon 20D or MarkIIn.

Canon, just seems to be providing more camera options than Nikon, although Nikon does produce amazing cameras. I think that Canon just seems to be the best option for me since I can get a camera that will do exactly what I need it to do without having to pay for options that I will never need. An example is the fact that until the D200 comes out later this month the only camera that Nikon has as an upgrade to the D70 is the D2X which is way too much for what I need (12MP, $5000). Where as Canon has the 20D (8.2MP, $1200) or the MarkIIn (8.2MP, $4000) that are better options for what I need in a camera. And both of those do much better at higher ISOs than the Nikon line. Which plays big when you start shooting dimly lit receptions.

Until I make the switch my D70 and my 70-200VR lens are great friend!!

I liked the quick transition between the groomsman/bridemaid pairs. Also great music for the reception; dancing in sync was a great touch. Nice work.

Thanks for all of the compliments. Yeh, maybe I should raise the music video prices up more. What do you think I should make it as? I'm not sure.

I use the DVX as one of the moving, my Sony TRV-70 as a moving, and some other camera I can find for the static. If I don't have a partner that day, I use my trv-70 for the static and dvx for moving. It's pretty good. in the future, i would be using all dvx. Thanks again! Peace!

Yeh Mike. I didn't clear it. I'm trying to find that out myself but no one seemed to answer my question. Does anyone know how to do it and how much it usually costs? Also, would you have to give a portion of what you make to them or something? I have noooo clue how that works. That's a whole other ball game. Lol!

Nice video.

I LOVE the Hitchcock Zoom.

how did u get the effect to work so well? did u have a dolly and assistant or something? I've tried and while i can get the effect, I haven't been able to get anything so smooth

Pretty good. That hitchcock zoom was sweet. i can't wait to try that now. i thought it was a bit long for a demo, i thought the car driving through could have been cut, and it was a little too shaky for me, but overall it was good. lots of nice close ups.

Here is a demo of my own:

I learned two things from your video...1) i need more engaging camera movements. i am too static with my shots...something in between your clip and my clip would be perfect i think. and 2) i need more close ups...oh, and i learned the hitchcock zoom, too. that's three things!...thanks for sharing your work.

as for your prices, i think they should go up, especially if you are editing 3 cameras worth of footage.

I feel compelled to say that i did not like the hitchcock zoom. i felt it made her look freaky and effect-overwhelmed.

Lucky, you seem to be doing some nice work and have a great sense of pacing. One thing I did notice however, was that you could use more wide shots. especially during those aisle moments, even with one camera, you don't have to get that tight for so long.

Hey, Pooh, my bro-in-law and sister said the same thing about the wide shots. They say that I do too much close-ups. It's a habit I guess. That probably why most of my shots are shaky, cuz I'm always zoomed in. I just love the shallow DOF. That's probably why. I'll try to work on it. As for the freaky look, the bride is always like that. she tends to have this weird eye thing she does, like she looks down or something. I don't know. One of her bridesmaid said that too. It's like a habit she has.

I achieved it simply by holding the camera in my hand with a shoulder harness (which makes stability worse for me actually...i rather just use the hand), and I slowly walked towards her as I zoomed out. I practiced quite a few times when I first got the camera. Luckily, at the photo shoot, I got it the first time. lol!

Wow, prices should go up? I just get scared that I will lose jobs for my prices being so high. It's a heck of a lot of work, especially with school and stuff and my other jobs. How much do you think I should charge?

Thanks guys for everything. You guys are awesome and very encouraging! Thanks! Peace!
