great work man...dolly shots look great...my only comment would be that some of the shots look repetitive...possibly the high saturation and contrast?
 
Video looks nice. Some of the cuts on the older guy were a little jeky imho. I think they needed to be cut on the action a little closer.


Non production related comments:

Is the singer wearing a GnR t-shirt? *panic*
Bands need to lay off the AutoTune, it makes my skin crawl.
 
I think the video shows the potential of this camera quite nicely. I really liked the shot of the neck of the guitar with only part in focus. Did you use the camera straight up or with an adapter?

Did you think the shots were repetitive because of the high contrast/saturation? Do you think it should be toned down... we did a lot of colour correction. Any ideas what we need to change or do you just think it needs more varied camera movement?

I'll take another look at the cuts on the non band stuff, you think it followed the music too much?

We didn't use any filters or lenses.

Great video man. The only thing I don't like about it was those shots of the guy when he was on the ground. Other than that everything looked great.

beno, the music video is pretty rad bro, nice lighting, your dolly work is really creative, love the side-dolly from behind, that was nice. Now if you replace that man with a hot chic, your video would rock! not thats hes bad or anything, only thing I can see that would bother me.. near the end, it stays out of focus for too long. I was waiting for it to come back into focus. its nothing major. I do like the music, the band is great.
 
yup yup yup. good cut man. i like the subtle use of DOF in sweet spots; great framing and camera technique. ONLY thing that really bothered me was that the band was playing to a big white wall. It's kind of obtuse to see them looking straight at the white sheets .. which wouldn't be so bad if you couldn't see their shadows, but b/c you can ... it just seems odd and unnatural. All the other shots look great! Oh, and maybe fewer XCU's of the drummer's high-hat. Outside colors with grounded fellow look swanky...very nice...good lighting. I think the band will be pumped with the final cut ...
