New Dvx Horror Feature

I saw the Atlanta premiere of this, and it was pretty fun. I don't think they have a distribution deal yet, but you can buy the DVD on their site.
 
That looks pretty damn bad... maybe they could cut out the story and the horror and release a porn short... the brunette is hot!

It is pretty motivating. There isn't a damn thing in that trailer that makes me want to see it. You can seriously find better actors at the local gas station. I know horror films thrive on T&A, but to have it one of the main focuses of the trailer is pretty weak.

Now these guys will get this sold on amazon and probably make a mint. As the French would say...gar-bage.
 
There's actually two girls who get nekkid in this movie, and several more "stacked" actresses who would be right at home in a Russ Meyer flick. I think the director is definitely a Breast Man.

But who isn't? :)
 
With the advent of great prosumer cameras and desktop post, unfortunately it's anybodies movie. Murder and teenagers is the ticket just as it was when home video rentals were first introduced way back in the 80's. Everytime I rent something like this (and I love horror) I hope to hope that it will be something fresh and unique...ha!

BTW, T & A may be the only thing that gets this movie picked up by some bottom feeding distributor. :thumbdown
 
Remember back in the '80's when super-8 horror-films were all the rage? Same thing, only instead of getting their exposure at the video store, they'll get it online. A few will get recognized and move on.
 
Even it isnt that great I still admire people who get out there and JUST DO IT.

Like with writing, some writers make master pieces from their first book and others have to write ten before they get it.

Making something, taking the blows for it but learning in the process isnt that what indy movie making is all about?

Anyways the movie probably still suck ;)

Could that trailer been anymore exciting or entertaining?

This makes that bad horror film with Ron Jermy look like a master piece!
 
ugggg that is worse then the first "film" I did 7 years ago, when I knew NOTHING about ANYTHING film or video, NOTHING. I picked up a vx1000 and started to shoot stuff, then I met this redneck guy with a LAME script,(at the time I knew NOTHING about scripts) and found some BAD actors.THe redneck got 5 grand from some poor investors and off we went "film makers" !! did I learn? YES, was I still a STUPID moron after the film? YES..but then you go on, and your passion will teach you or you give up. I am still at it, with a real production company that does real work. and a huge amount of learning under my belt yet still I learn EVERY DAY!


bottom line? DON"T EVER STOP, keep growing your skillz.
