New DVX - First use

I just received my DVX100B last weekend. Here are some screengrabs from first use up in the mountains mear home.

Awesome, I love to see the nature shots. I'm just about to head out to Calgary, and I'm sure I'll be spending quite a bit of time in the Rocky Mountains and I can't wait to see what they look like threw the lens of a DVX100B... Do you remember your settings? Where is this located anyways? Keep em coming.

I live in Big Horn, Wyoming just outside of Sheridan at the foot of the Big Horn range - part of the Rockies. About an hour and a half west of Devil's Tower and about three hours east of Yellowstone.

I used scene setting 6 - advanced 24p - and recorded using a Firestore FS-4 Pro tapeless. I used a ciricular polarizer.

Your polarizer did you well on those shots. I usually like using a warming filter when shooting nature exteriors, it provides a smoother feel to the tree lines and makes nature pop, at least in my opinion.

those look awesome. i would love to have the firestore -- so expensive, though. man. (actually, it's fair priced, i just dont have that kind of money lying around.)
