Introducing new cinema DSLR & bearing based slider system which will be on the market soon. We have been developing this system for some time.

This "slider" tracking system is a very advanced and ergonomic unit with no binding, and smooth quite tracking. The pic below is our prototype unit so some features will vary (for the better).

Hello, the details are still in the works for price. The expected MSRP will be around $565 - $825 for complete packages ranging from 24" to 48" including rods, end caps, and independently adjustable legs.

We are using all US standard sizes and not metric, so the precision rods can be purchased independently to save money and to work with universal systems running 5/8 rails. Or the option is available to purchase the precision rods from us in the package.

It can mount on both ends via a tripod, sturdy light stand, or c stand using a 3/8 and 1/4 adapter with 5/8 stud option as well. All the options are included.

IMPORTANT: One very important item to mention is this is a bearing system, not a IGUS polyethylene thin system as is the case with most "consumer" sliders. The price will still be competitve with all current systems and should be much lower than any current linear bearing systems out there and all our products will always be made 100% in the US. The options are two different style bearings, a linear ball bearing or quite ride frelon bearing.

We are creating a lightweight delrin bottom option to be centered on a centered tripod in the middle so users with only one tripod can use without a problem.

We recently had a complete redesign of our cineZEN cineGLIDE (TM) system and are in production of the new SLIDER / TRACKING SYSTEM now. Pre-orders will start soon and the first 100 units will be dramatically reduced. For more info on the entire system and details please don't hesitate to reach out to us. Very Soon, and we are doing something unique which most companies in our competition are not (at least that we know of). We are going to offer a pretty big discount of 10% - 15% off for student filmmakers and more importantly we will be offering a pre-order of the system when production gets close to completing. This will be about a 30% reduction in cost from our MSRP. If interested please send an inquiry directly to sales@cinezenusa.com to be included in the limited pre-order list.

In response to several direct email inquiries about our product at cineZEN - the cineGLIDE (TM) system, we wanted to make note to some common questions.

All of our products are to fulfill a need not a price specifically, however we are of course going to bring our products to the market at the best available pricing possible. This pricing structure will be available very soon.

In regards to questions about how our units compare to the Igus style bearings, we must say that this is a comparison between apples to oranges. We will soon be offering a full PDF competitive chart outlining others in the industry, their differences and pricing.

We feel currently, the only company with a similar linear ball bearing based system with a solid design is Cinevate.

Finally, a little about who we are:

We are first and foremost, dedicated to customer satisfaction and are launching our flagship product as a cinema “slider” called the cineZen cineGlide®. This is the first bearing based slider system on the market to offer critical adjustment of the bearings for minimal to zero binding, which means smooth shots, the first time. Future products will include the cineZEN OVF (optical view-finder), a tactical universal rig (shoulder & tripod) & cage setup, and a virtually zero backlash follow focus system.

cineZEN is a team of filmmakers, designers, and creative professionals with an interest and passion for film, gear and all the aspects of how it can benefit production. We started out as DIY junkies and found we were able to make exceptional products, but at a cost, and always (until now) with shortcomings. We found (the hard way) that in order to have a production unit which will work properly, several hundred hours of design, changes, and implementation have to go into every product.

We want you to know that cineZEN is about making quality professional products. Each product we create was started on paper as a sketch and through production was touched by a collaborative team of designers, engineers, machinists, etc.

Finally, we wanted to extend something rather ZEN-like. Our approach as we grow, will be to extend certain offers for student filmmakers, create special projects and workshops, and offer gear at minimal to no cost for meaningful, life important programming.
