Hello just an update for all 5D-7D style DSLR camera shooters...
I have a new rig THE SCORPION RIG that is a very modular shoulder mount with belt and back spring support system adjustable for any weight camera up to 2.5-3 kgr
the complete package includes main rig, belt, back spring support system.
It weights 300grams full carbon rods , and you can view the prototype version AT:

THIS IS JUST A QUICK VIDEO just to show of the system and how it works.
Soon a production model will be available at the 500 euro range complete.
It can also support smal HD camcorders up to 3 kgr.
It require no hand support and the system get supportrd from the back spring system requiring minimum delicate hand control for more stability.
Thanks

Hello you can mount a monitor with 1/8 screw any where om the system, I have an extra bracket that mounts anywhere on the rods for this, and it weights 70 grams.
I will also have a bracket mounted at the back of the tail and you can mount on it a battery plate. I can supply V-mount , but that accessory is extra at 80 euro.
The monitor brack is included.
What camera are you using? If you have a special requirement about battery mount or want to adapt yours let me know and I will make it for you at the above additional cost
Please pm me with your info for updates.
Thanks
Thanks

So how much load can this ScorpionRig handle?
Many 5D users will like to add a follow focus and a mattebox.
otherwise the two handle setup would only make sense when using a wideangle stoped down, or am I mising sth?
For smallchip palmcorders on autofocus this may work though...

the scorpio can handle up to 3 kilos
if that isnt enough here is my lowest next rig just assembled roughly tonight from ex1 to the heaviest 35mm cinecams up to 60 lbs.
Just to see the quality , its really an overkill for dslrs.
Yes the scorpio can support 5D style plus matte box and ffocus.
