New dp reel

Really nice footage in there. Good music and pace to the edit. I would love to see it in HD though.

Nice nice nice! Rated 5 stars.

Girl at 0.47 is amazing too! Only bit I didnt like was one of the punches at the end didnt look like it really connected and the guy shaking his hair for no reason. Bar that - love it!

I like it. Noticed that 53 people viewed the thread and nobody made a comment. It cut well with the music and you had some great shots. I'm not the greatest of criticizer's but it's either I like it or I don't. Did you use any filters on your lens? My favorite shot would have to be the one with the Hollywood sign in the background.

Thats some good stuff. I really enjoyed. The pacing was solid especially with that jump and the music built up right as he was about to jump. Like someone said on youtube you should re-export so its in HD. Two questions:

1. What is the song used in the Reel?
2. What was your lighting setup for most of the shoots?

Hey thanks alot guys! it is always great to hear people digg my stuff. here is the answers to your questions:

I didnt use any filters but i did use a letus 35 adapter and i did apply filters from magic bullet

The was from a trailer for a Robert Downey Jr. film "A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints" (which i recommend)

And as far as lighting goes, i never used anything bigger than a simple 3 light kit (Pepper, Tweenies, Arri) with the ocassional aditional crate light or KinoFlo. and all my out door is bounced off a reflector

thanks again guys

it was a nice reel man, really well lit stuff, even the ambient looking stuff had a nice ratio to it.

My only criticism is I'd say you don't need to show shots later on in your reel from the same "scene", it looks more like a trailer at some points of a particular film than your reel

but nice stuff!
