New Commercials

Re: New Commercials

TAYLOR! you suck man. I know where you live!  ::)
i think you need to go to film school or something. maybe if you worked in the same building that had a film school, you could go there... what do you think?  ;D

seriously, though... good work taylor. not too often these days that people cover the HIV subject... it seems to have been brushed aside as of late.
people need to realize the disease is still out there and not to drop their guard. it is as serious as ever and touches most of directly or indirectly whether we realize it or not.

on a personal note, just to make sure everyone realizes how serious it can be: when i graduated from high school in the early nineties, 7 people in my grad class tested HIV positive... :-[

Re: New Commercials

Thanx alot Neil,
Yes it is still a really big deal, and somehow HIV/AIDS has gotten dominated by other world issues. People think that there are drugs that put it into re-mission, that is not the case. The drugs are extremely expensive and have tremendous side effects...it does not kill the disease.

In my meetings with the clients they told me this story about a 15 year old girl who had unprotected sex once and became HIV positive. And where I live is a small place pop: 60,000.

Thanks to people like Bono, and Richard Gere(no gerbil jokes please) who are really trying to inform and educate our politicians about the seriousness of this disease and it's long term social and global implications.

Re: New Commercials

I thought they were effectively and economically written, well lit and well shot. The image was a little jumpy/fuzzy, but I'm assuming that's from the compression.

Re: New Commercials

Thanx Jim,
Compression does hell on'em.
Set up and shoot with one flex fill 5 minutes.

I think the message comes across.
