Isn't this from a screenplay you wrote?
Yeah, it's an adaptation of a screenplay I wrote. I actually have a meeting at ICM next week to discuss the project with an Agent there.

So is the comic a result of not getting the screenplay produced first? Or is it part of a master plan of some kind to build up buzz via comic. Or did you just want to do it?
Two separate things. It was initially optioned by a prodco but when that expired I was already working on another comic venture so I decided to do this comic adaptation too. But now, ICM wants to discuss the film rights next week. So, it's really going to boil down to what ICM says, the comic may get halted before it's published. We'll see. ICM is god in this town so they get what they want and I have no problem with that

Well? What's the deal, and where is the info to get this comic before the film comes out? It will go nicely in my boy's comic collection.well of course
All the titles launch in January, it's a whole marketing thing. Just peek in on www.patchworkcomics.com in a couple months, details will be up by then. As for your kid, this is a PG-13 comic but we'll have a couple PG and G titles in the webcomic section.
