New Color correction!

Hello everyone!

I have recently discovered color finesse and I must say that it is an absolutely amazing tool!!!

I reworked my music video to look more like a 1960´s commercial or pictures in old cook books from the mid 50's. You know when they color it by hand afterwards...

Tell me what you think about it! I trashed the hazy look i had before, which you still can see on my site... (the non-downloadable version)

cheers!!!

I loved it. This was worth my download.

This was such a bizare piece; what the **** was it? And why do I want to drag that hot little vixen looking brunette chick screaming from the office? She was hot; in a hot brubnette office way.

Seriously though; this was a really fun energetic piece. What was it for? THe music was great; reminding me of some Romancing the Stone era Jazz song. I enjoyed this. Really wierd but in a good fun crazy way.

Wonderfulyl shot by the way; with what camera?

(BY the way; I remember the Campfire Tales Video Game Vid and loved that)

Hey John!

Glad you liked it!! :D

The brunette is the girlfriend of the artist, Roman Andrén (the long haired dude at the end)

And yeah, she is darn hot! :)

It is a music video and we are currently sending it to MTV and other channels in hope of getting it aired.

for more info about the artist go to www.romanandren.com

It is filmed with the DVX100AE. I really wanted to use some sort of 35 adapter though... I will save my money to get the Guerilla35 once it is finished... I really would like to work with depth of field.

I will soon upload a new video to the site so keep visiting :)

Take care!

Hej!

Funny ... that dude is playing in Norrkoping! I lived there for a year while recording drum tracks for bubble gum commercials, etc. in Stockholm (Rub a Dub studios). Killer :-)

Tala snart!
Hej dor...

I live in Norrkoping too!
Roman is a dear friend to me, he lives in Uppsala now. How did you hear about him? Just curious.

That was a REALLY well made video. Wasn't sure what if my attention span could handle the slow beginning, but once the cubicle people started to shake their booties, it was A LOT of fun. And some of the best lighting and DVX footage I've seen. I've been saying that a lot lately.

How can I get my stuff to look like that? Let me guess, ...my stuff will never look like that. :(

How do you get really good clear images like that?!?!? I can never get nice glossy shots like that on mine :(

That was properly shot!!! Photography did not drag rather it evolved and progressed! Very smooth dynamics, camera seems to be in the proper hands... I didn't care much for the music as it did not grab me, i was not dancing. Perhaps if you attach the microchip behind my ear i would go wild. I have a question, this is dvx and i suspect you shot slow motion at 60i originally? If so, your image has sustained much clearity! This was fun...

That was a wonderful treat to wake up to this morning and not just the brunette! I really enjoyed this piece and will watch it many more times and not just for the brunette!...Outstanding work!!!

Nice work!

Very clear images and great lighting, I would assume this was 60i... There was only one shot I would change, the first one of the blonde looks a bit "setup" if that makes any sense. The only one that stood out for me.

Kudos!

that looked really filmic for some reason... shot 24p or 60i?

my guess was because of the clarity of the image.

amazing work!

Nice music video!! Watching office workers dance like that is jus fukcing amazing! haha

Good job on the filming. The camera flowed with everything going on in the scenes.

On that one part though...where the background came up to black...how did you get to that effect, from the office going to black and then those cool lights coming up? Most likely green screen for the actors..but how did u get the black to appear as if the darkness was sweeping through the office? And were those clips of the lights generated in AE or sutting, or jus reg background clips you bought from like artbeats or something?

Good job!

yah that looked good and the song was great..kinda reminds me of the hed kandi cds......love that chilling ****... :D

Completely nuts! That was fun to watch! It never bored me! Hell, it kept getting better and better making me want to see what else these crazy desk jockies were going to do. I honestly can say this was a well produced video and is ready to go where ever you take it. Specially like on euro mtv or something, always see crazy things on there. Technically speaking, like others have asked, was this in 60i? The slow-mo was excellent, looked very filmic and no "studdering" effect that sometimes is seen. Great work and don't stop, you're definately right for the job. :)
