New Cinematography Showreel 2010

yups. liked it even better with the sound. But glad i watched it without first. I know i would have missed some things had i done that.
Loved the lighting! did you grade these projects?

Also can you tell me some shots (time code in the reel) that were shot with the dslr?

im glad that you like the lighting, thats what cinematography is about ;)
and yea i graded all by myself, not allways on the project, but in this reel.

there is only one movie shot on dslr, this one
Faett - a stop motion short

cheers

Hey, I loved your reel! It's excellent, and I was really impressed. My favorite shot was when the actor fell into the tall grass and the camera seemed to fall as well. That shot was really disorienting at the start, in a good way. Great work.

thanx! and yea its my favorite part too, works nice with the music :)

in my opinion you made great choices at 1:03 and at 1:25
those segments were spot on
lighting perfect framing perfect

Really dig your work. Good stuff.

I had a question, was the coloration done live or was it corrected in post and if so, what program were you using?

i never do the colors on set, im filming flat as possible. i did it in post, most in premiere cs4 with magic bullet looks, some only with the premiere grading tools.
