"Blind Date" by TheComo, Kegan Sant & John Labonney

Thanks Larry. Our Helen actually noes all about this sign language.

I'm getting stressed since we're shooting this Sunday, just being afraid we won't have time. It's just me though...
It'll work out for you, Robbie. Just worry about the things you CAN control and you'll be fine. I'm sure you already know this, but just wanted to add words of encouragement.

Thanks Luis.

I'm still gonna be positive, but I don't think we have much of a chance now...I mean for winning, but whatever. I'm going to have fun, and learn on the way, so it should be good!

Thanks!

If you actually think you had a chance for winning with all the other ridiculous productions going on around here, I really admire your confidence in this.

I'd be happy not to get tech support. (Come to think of it, I'd be happy to get tech support. I need a better dolly).

Guys,

TheComo is now a stressed free cinematographer.

We finished. God, it was a blast.

Here's the story:

Friday: My sisters Jack and Jill.

Saturday (Shoot day, today): Woke up all tired and partied out.

Get a call saying one of our leads can't make it due to family issues, which is acceptable.

Then my other talent can't show till later.

We get to the shoot with Kegan, my Laura, and Josh (Lead actor)

We don't have a tape. We then find one, and it has 40 minutes left on it. Luckily we were able to get another one because Laura's mom came and dropped one off. She also helped us out and took the role of Martha. Good, we're on the clear.

We start shooting, and all is going well. I couldn't figure out the audio with the A1, but it worked out in the end.

Im stressing through the whole day that we need to get the outside shot done before it gets dark. We finally do that shot, and its pitch black out...I had 1000 watt work light kit with me, so it worked out, but the lighting wasn't the greatest.

Our last scene, Montana's restaurant. It was indeed my first time filming in a restaurant, so it was a sweet ass experience. We had a good time, and let one of the waiters in the video (he just wanted to be in the film)

So all in all, today went awesome. We had some sick times, and we were laughing through out the day.

I'll receive the footage in a couple of hours, and post some Behind the scenes, and some quick raw grabs of the film. (I have a sweet idea for a CC, so I'm going to surprise you all and not show you the actual CC'ed footage until the actual video is out, so you'll have to wait :))

Well, I kinda need the footage ;)

Lol, kidding. Kegan has the camera, and he's uploading it tonight, and sending it to me. Only option of doing it seeing he didn't want me to have the camera as he needs it for some shoots. And my capture camera won't handle HD.

Wow.
Congrats on getting it done, Como!
You had a hell of a lot of obstacles in your way - I can't wait to see what you were able to pull together today.

Good luck with it
