Just so this is completely clear this is version 2 that retails for $2299. Then after rebate it is $1999. So I am taking $200 off the price after you receive rebate.

I am selling a Canon EF 24-70 f/2.8L II that I purchased two weeks ago. With out IS I just can't use this great lens for my work. I only tested it one evening and can not return it since I sent the UPC code in off the box. So I will take that off the price plus a little more to make a quick sale.

I have taken the $300 rebate plus an additional $200 off the lens, and know one is interested?

This is version 2 that sell for $2299 before $300 rebate. So $1999 after rebate then I take $200 off that price.

Bh sells for 1999 with $300 rebate so it is sitting at 1700 brand new now. That might explan why no one bite on it.

Sorry but you are wrong this is version 2 and it sells for $2299 and with the $300 rebate it is $1999 and I am taking $200 off that price. Please do not post in ads for sale if you are not accurate with your information!
 
in case you still in the 'lala land' since the time you post your thread, there were the DOUBLE DIP rebate for this lens from both amazon and BH. LOTS of folks take advance of the double rebate and GOT the lens for $1699.

The double dip rebate start 4 days ago and end last night. So i'm not wrong on this since I BOUGHT ONE for 1999 and send in my $300 rebate later.

Anyhow, don't take this the wrong way. I just simply answer your question why no one intersted in your asking price couple days ago.
 
"lala land" comment is not needed, I did not know about double dip for rebate.

I just feel you could have handled it different. But no worry moving on.
