New Camera?

I just got off the phone with them right after I read groveChuck's post. I live in LA so no I did not go through Miami but I said I am prepared to go to court and they settled for replacement. I am getting a new DVX, Rode NTG-2, Litepanels 1x1, and a MacBook Pro.

Did you have a Litepanel and MB Pro before?

A friend of mine has a German Shepherd who pees on demand, and used him in a short film.
If you'd like him to star in a short based on your experience, let me know! ;^)

I've been following this thread and I'm VERY GLAD that you've gotten this resolved...there's nothing worse then to see a young struggling future film maker get pissed on(ok that'll be my one and only pee joke)....Kudo's on following this all through and getting the replacement!:thumbup:
 
I owned a crappy opteka camera light that ran for 15 minutes then ran out of battery. I also had a MacBook and a NTG-2. The light was worth about as much as a litepanels and its not the best MacBook pro put of all of them, but they accepted that knowing what I had before.
 
that sounds like a new hustle to me,...take some broken equipment on a cruise and pack the bag with lense fluid, then when the dog pisses on it, have the company replace it with brand new items! im going to schedule a cruise tonight...
 
Just got it all in the mail!!! Should I try to squeeze the new FCS out of them too or just install my existing FCS2 disk set? I would feel kinda bad doing it but they were really mean with all of this and we very close to accepting my invitation to court...
 
just stick with what you've got. it's already a good deal:)

did you really tell them you were going to tell the media?
