Hey Fort Lauderdale and surrounding South Florida!
Is there anybody near me?
I've been in the biz for 12 years, since moving down from NY. Currently shooting with 2 HMC150s and a new Sound Devices 788T. I'll be learning the wiley ways of the Steadicam Pilot this summer. I'm looking to try my hands (and my feet) at music video production. My 788T and my matched pair of Earthworks QTC50s, ready to get down to some business. I also have Kinoflos and a nice Sony HD production monitor.
I'm looking for more associates and possible partners to produce whatever is worthwhile.
Personally I'm not really interested in doing weddings and similar events etc, but I could handle it if somebody else dealt with the customers.... I have a friend who did weddings for years (was a shooter for 60 minutes etc, etc, etc, ) who was successful at it years ago both with big broadcast cams and Hasselblads. I could bring him in as a freelancer to show me how it is supposed to properly go down for the high-end.
Open to all ideas and serious business proposals.
Also eager to hang out with other gear-heads to show, compare, and run tests of new gear.
