If you are using lenses such as the new Nikon's the Arri follow focus is not for you. You get 1/2 turn on the knob from min. focus distance to infinity. The reps I've contacted don't know **** about this.. Pardon my language, but I have one and I found out the hard way that there are better alternatives out there if you are using it on still lenses that have less than 180 degrees of focus throw.
Some may tell you that you can just change the gear. You can but it only give you a 5% difference if that. The Arri MFF1 looks pretty but is meant for cinema lenses or the EX1 etc. . You could probably use it on Zeiss lenses since they have a longer focus throw.

The new Cinevate has a 1:1 focus throw, much better for short throw lenses.
