Hey Everyone,

just got done editing and compiling some footage that i shot over the past year with
pro FMX riders Mike Mason and Adam Jones ... I cut together a mini-documentary about Mike Mason and his passion for the sport and the friends he has made along the way, I would appreciate some feedback on all aspects of this initial cut ..

I am looking to turn this into as many festivals and hopefully x-dance 2011

it was shot entirely on the sony EX1 with a few shots from the HPX170 ...
edited in FCP and graded with color ...

I can't handle the vignetting...

It really bothers me... I'm probably the only one, so take with a grain...
 
I liked. The vignetting didnt really bother me and you had some cool shots.

I'm going to be shooting a few of the Red Bull X-fighters warm up events over here in the UK next month so you gave me a few ideas for shots etc

What PP do you use and what are you Detail settings?

Did you shoot in 1080 or 720, like it is on vimeo?

hey guys,
thanks for all the input and questions...

I actually shot this mostly on a homemade skateboard dolly , im not much for those sliders as I havent had a chance to test one yet ...

the cameras used were the EX1 and HPX170 .. 90% EX1
all slo motion was shot at 720P 60fps at 1/2000th shutter and as close to F1.9 as
possible .. with the EX1 u have to shoot a high shutter to get a nice slomo out of the camera, unlike the HPX170 which we shot sat 1/120th shutter 60fps

I wanna say I was using Cine4 for my matrix setting and did some adjustments to the blacks and saturation and I also always shoot witha polarizer to help boost saturation too .
