Nope, the H4n will be essential when I want to boom with a couple of Lavs and keep all the channels separate for mixing in post. But for a lot of stuff the juicedlink will do nicely.

I've been using magic lantern and plugging the headphones into the a/v out. Not sure how that's gonna work with the new firmware.

Forgive my ignorance, but with the manual audio control will folks now be ditching their Zoom H4n's?

No. Because you still need XLR for the mics. With that said, I can at least leave my H4N in the bag if I'm just recording one person with a wireless mic.
