This looks like a great deal on some awesome batteries. I just have 2 questions before I put in my order.
1. Is there any way to pay with credit card? I don't have a PayPal account and would prefer to not write a check.
2. Are there still any of those bitchin' shirts available? That 2-fer deal is sweet, but 80 bucks is a lot easier on the account than 160 if the shirts are all gone.
perhaps in the future you will accept western union money orders or will place the batteries on ebay (like Barry did with his book) and accept bidpay. There are a lot of DVC80, DVC30, and DVX users out there who don't visit this site, and go to ebay to find good after market batteries like this. It benefits all parties: you- gain valuable market share outside of dvxuser.com and us- allows more payment options.
Yes, it is mentioned in previous posts the payment policy re: these batteries, perhaps you could reconsider.
I mention this because I (and perhaps others) want to buy these batteries but have reservations re: paypal due to their "legally questionable" practices to-wards a users bank and credit accounts (http://www.paypalsucks.com/) . its the ACLU in me
However, gaining market share isnt what im after, I get them custom made and sell them at cost as a service to all my members here as a thankyou for everyone's input.. because without all of you posting here i would just be alone talking to myself. I dont care how many I sell, dont care if ebayers get a good deal, I just care that my members get a good deal, which is why I also make deals with EVS etc... I dont get a cut of those sales, but you guys save a few bucks.
For me to hafta goto the local western union every few days to pick up orders is too much hassle.. im nice, but not that nice.
well, bidpay (western unions online service) sends the money orders to your door AND they don't take a percentage of your profit. BUT, since profit isn't part of the equation, your current setup makes sense.
although I don't see whats wrong with a postal money order.
thanks anyway, <--back to counting my shares in western union
G'day. I was just wondering if you had an estemated ETA for a batterie i orded on about 8/8 i think it was. The one i have now only goes for about 20 mins and is getting a little annoying.
- thanks,
I was wondering what the correct battery ettiquette is for these puppies and have a few questions. I heard they have a precharge of 75%? What should I do when I first get the battery? Should I drain them until they're empty and then charge it up to 100% the first time (and not a percentile less) like some laptop batteries? During regular use, is it ideal to always drain the battery to empty and then charge it up to full for longer overall lifespan? Also what would be the correct way to store these batteries? I know not to leave it on the DVX when not in use for a long time but what about the charge? Should I just charge it to full and let it sit by itself for however long or should I recharge it up again every now and then? I know that's a handful of questions but I know you guys are knowledgable enough to answer them easily.
Don't know if I said thanks, but Jarred, thanks for the exceptional customer support in my issue with the batteries. All is resolved and all is well. Thanks again. Now, can you start offering a few more needed accessories at cost for DVX users! On cam lights, mics, etc!
Hi-
I normally would _not_ be posting like this at all but... I ordered the battery a week or so ago, paid for it, haven't heard a word. I sent an email to battery@dvxuser.com, no reply. Any word?
Again, I normally would not be posting something like this but I tried normal channels.
