Neutral Density is amazing!

For a quick, rushed, zero budget fantasy film I worked on recently that was made for CBC's digital diversity contest, I saw the power of neutral density filters! The clouds are just amazing! The video also had an improvised flamethrower in it - its pretty silly in tone.

You mean polarizer? An ND should have no effect on the angle of the of the light passing through it.

A polarizer can change both the angle, frequency and magnitude. Clouds render better with more "contrast" and reflections can be made to virtually disappear.
