nervous wreck!

What's that process exactly? I mean I know it's outputting from film to digital right? What are you nervous about?

basically sitting in w/ a colorist and transferring it. its a bit of nervousness and anxious mixed together. the feeling of seeing your work on the screens are better than sex (well not really)! but you get the point. :)

cool aaron.. enjoy. hopefully your Operator / Colorist is cool and shows you some good possibilities. what are you working on? post some grabs if you can when it is done.

well i made it! everything went great. they even cut me a deal b/c they know im gonna come back to them in the future. the colorist was great; and she did show me possibilities. sorry can't post any grabs, bc i lack the luxury of having a beta tape player. i have to wait until my editor is available for me to come in and cut something. overall great experience! :)

Congrats Aaron, that's exciting stuff. It's been almost 7 years since I've done it with my first feature, but it still gives me butterflies to hear about it.

At least I can live vicariously through you, so thanks for sharing.

Best,

Jason

jasonfox,

transferring some footage from a spec ad i did a while ago. i went w/ Peggy over @ VPT. originally i was gonna go w/ Filmworkers, but they took to long to put a bid together for me. And, my DP had worked w/ the colorist over @ VPT. super16--->betaSP

Cool. I love being in telecine even though I don't get to go half the time because the client doesn't want to pay to send the writer.
