What looks great about these is they have dimmers for both banks, not an intensity and a temperature dimmer (so you can have all the LEDs on) and they have barn doors + yoke that fits a standard light stand. They also claim to be 96+ (which I am finding VERY difficult to believe). The price is £109.99. This seems too good to be true so probably is. I can find any proper reviews of them. Anyone have any experience of them?

Compared to the competition of professional lighting units, it looks like a toy - something a 16 year old aspiring film maker would receive for Christmas. Not much output, construction does not reassure, barndoors aren't even flush with the panel! However it's only £109.99. It could be great as a backup, hairlight, background light, light you can abuse because it's so cheap etc. Who knows?

Get what you are saying re barn doors but not sure what makes you think the output is not good. Looks like it would be greater than the Aputure Amaran HR672S. For me I am more conserned with the CRI than if it looks cool. It also seem quite solid, being made mostly of metal, and has a proper yoke. Again looks lot less toy like than the Aputure Amaran HR672.

I'm just going from its 40W power draw in relation to the panel size. The knob that adjusts the amount of "YELLOW" doesn't fill me with confidence either. Being a cheap Chinese light it's a gamble.

What's so great about having dimmers for both banks? All bi-color lights turn all the lights LEDs on at around 4300K.

I think the irony is that that feature guarantees the light is half as bright at 3200k and 5600k vs 4300k. This light is a 20W light at daylight or tungsten, which is pretty low output. On the other hand there are some lights this size that actually draw the full power at all color temps, but those have a dimmer and color temp adjustments.

I've played with some of Neewer's smaller LED panels, and they all have a very obvious magenta shift. I'd be curious to see if that's still an issue for their lights.
