I am searching for a zombie make-up person that is self contained for my production. The shoot is in 45 days for an indy web production series. I need a lot of blood and rot and decay. I need someone that is professional. Bullet blasts experience is a bonus. Shoot location is in the Maryland.

Can anyone point me in a contact's direction? Thanks.

Call 443-803-8509. His name is John. He is really good. He did all the practical fx on my last short "Gathering Souls". Tell him Richard sent you. His prices are good too.

i love these kinds of responses.:nads:

Chris, thanks for wasting my time with your unprofessional response.

I reached out to Richard's guy and a few other people but I have not hired anyone at this time. It has been a few days and did want to thank Richard for the info with a short quick response.

Maybe if you had have said that the first time it wouldn't have appeard to be a sarcastic remark. As in 'Thanks' for nothing. That's how I could have read it too. I assumed however that you thanked him personally via PM so I wasn't concerned.

But yeah, what does it take to spell a few words? 'Thanks' doesn't say anything in a case like this where someone goes out of their way to type and post in an effort to help. And you can only find time to say one word. Wow, that was an effort.

Yeah, that 'is' annoying.
Maybe in the future if you want to say thanks do so and if it didn't help you, thank them for their time in responding. It only takes a few seconds to 'say it'. Then all of this would be a mute point.

Glad he helped though. Your 'Thanks' just came across as unappreciative to a couple of us, that's all.

//Easy example: "Thanks man, I'll look into it and let you know." Wow, how hard and unprofessional was that? imo.

When someone tells me "Thanks" after giving them information, I read that as "Thank you for the information." I don't follow up the "Thanks" with "Hey you are being sarcastic, I should kick you in the nuts." Which point of view is unprofessional?

Gord.T, thank you for for bringing this clarification. I read your response and I see your point view. I do not agree but I understand what you are saying. Thank you for your time. Please do not read any sarcasm or malice into this statement.

I am not responding to anymore "the meaning of thanks" comments.

This thread is for zombie make-up artists in the Maryland area. If this is you or someone you know falls under this heading, please PM me. I am grateful for any response and will follow up with them.
