Need Your Help, Lighting and Shooting a Scene

Hey everybody,

I have to shoot a scene that simulates the interior of a surveillance van, like in spy movies where there's always that guy keeping an eye on things from the outside. Anyway, my plan was to rent a box truck for a day (it's a no budget film and we only need the scene for 30 seconds at most all from one camera angle at the very end of the truck) and putting a table in it. Then, place a small work light overhead as a van light. I plan to place a couple of computer monitors on the table (not actually for any use). Then put a light source tinted green behind the monitors to make it seem as the monitors were casting a green light on things.

Any ideas or better ways? (i'm mostly looking for a better way)

Do you have some way to simulate a 19" rack mounted on your 'desk' top? Depending on the location of the camera, relative to the interior, all yould need to do is to perhaps get some boxes, print out 'images' of front panels (Costco 12"x18" costs about $3), with perhaps one audio patch panel and some cables.
