I've got an EX1, a Letus Extreme and a few F-mount Zeiss lenses. I'm about to replace my 5D with a 5D Mark II, and was wondering, is there any point in me keeping the Letus Extreme and Zeiss lenses anymore? Or would I be better off selling them and putting the money towards something else, like a dolly, or what have you?

DD.

I still use my EX1 and brevis for quite a bit of work which might become risky with the 5D alone... so imo I would say its not quite time to lose the video camera/adapter if you don't have to.

Also I use ZF lenses with a few different Nikon to EOS adapters on the 5D II and they work great. I still hope Nikon has an answer sometime down the road so keeping them and buying some standard canon glass has been they way I have gone lately.

yes keep them for now :)

Keeping the lenses yes - you can use them on the 5DMKII with an adapter. But I don't think there's much use to keeping an adapter anymore. Any shots where you want that look are so much easier to achieve now on the 5DMKII. I'd still keep the EX1 if you can afford to because there are certainly plenty of projects that are better served with a full "real" video camera. But the film adapter was something I was happy to stop using - the weight, the extra length, the light loss, extra complication, etc. And it also helps that the 5D practically sees in the dark - a good bit more sensitive than even your naked video camera.
