[FS: General] Need to sell some gear and need a bit of help with prices

Dear DVXers:

A friend of mine was kind enough to lend me his gear to help make a movie, but I had to promise him I'd sell the gear and wire him the money when I finished (he's on a sailboat for a year).

So...

I'm finished, but I'm not sure how much I should sell this stuff for. I have a vague ballpark idea, but I'd like to get what it's worth, because the guy who lent me the stuff is a good dude.

If anybody knows, I'd really appreciate some idea of how much I should be asking for this stuff.

TRIPOD - Cartoni Focus head (2 stage)
LCD monitor - PANASONIC BT- LH900AP with hardshell case
MATTEBOX - VOCAS MB-350
LENS ADAPTOR - Redrock M2 (Nikon)

Go to Ebay, click on Advanced Search, then check the completed auctions box. Search for your gear and see what it is selling for. It's a pretty good representation of fair market value.

Not sure what the Focus head alone sells for, but with good Cartoni legs it goes for around $900 used.

Ebay wasn't much help. Nothing (ever) on the Panasonic monitor or the mattebox. Somebody did sell a Cartoni focus head with sticks for $950, but the sticks were not nearly as nice as these ones. I did get a price range on the Redrock adapter, however. $350-$500.

You could probably get around $600 for the cartoni head in good condition.

if its got functioning SDI in, the monitor could fetch nearly $2k

the whole lot should get around $3.5-4k on a good day

The cartoni focus is worth about $900 to $1000

I'd give 2 64GB P2 cards for that monitor, all brand new in the box A series cards.
