Need to make a fake book

[New_Zealand]

I have a scene in my film where my talent is in a book store looking at a book that has old photos and one photo in the book catches her eye. Anyway does anyone know where I can have a fake book made to have a page with the photo that she is looking at? Thanks

Hardback? Paperback? There are lots of mom-and-pop, and even chain/franchise print shops that will bind custom books. Check with a local university and see where masters students get their theses bound. Fill a bunch of pages with "lorem ipsum dolet", and then make a small selection of custom pages that the camera can see up close.

Another thing to consider is splicing in the pages you want. Print them out on similiar paper, cut them to size, spead open the spine of the book, remove the same number of pages and insert the new ones with a SMALL amount of super glue on the edge. You may need to change the cover of the book too.
