Hello everyone,

If you have an AF100 with Nano/Red/Alexa, we are in need of a basic shot of Paris with the skyline in the background. This would be a two movement or single movement shot.

Two move shot would be a dolly push in to a 180 degree pan. The shot would need to be on a balcony with double doors or double windows open. Framing and beginning move would be a medium at mid height framed to see the left and right edges of the door/window frame only (not wide, we do not want the floor or ceiling) push in so the window/door is out of frame revealing the skyline and then stop the pan the skyline with the Eiffel Tower in the background. The pan would need to be from right to left or left to right BUT panning would need to be past 180 degrees to see the living room.

Single move would be a lock down with the panning move and no dolly but the tripod would be set between the door/window frame so the panning would show the frame into the living room.

This is a transition shot we are comping so we need the footage to go past the view of the skyline.

Please let me know asap and this is a paying project.

Cheers

Ed

I'll be in Paris in late June with my AF100. I get the impression you need it sooner than that, though. But, if you can wait until then, I'd do it for compensation of the hotel room with the Eiffel Tower view (which I imagine aren't exactly the cheapest rooms in Paris). I'm not 100% clear on your explanation of the shots. With the dolly shot, you want just the doors/window frame (no Eiffel Tower skyline yet) and then the camera dollies and pans towards the outside so we then see the tower skyline... and then keep panning until we're looking back in towards the room? Is that right? And the locked down shot would basically be the same thing, but done so there is no dolly movement. Right?

Need any shots from Rome? I plan on being there too. Might even make it to Venice if there's time.

Also, not quite sure what you mean by Nano/Red/Alexa. Do you mean like a Nanoflash external recorder? Does Red and Alexa have one too?

AF100 with Nano 422 at the very least, a Red MX or Alexa would be preferred. Sorry but I need it by next week at the latest. Is there no one who lives in Paris?

Cheers

Hi Ed

Im based in London so Paris is pretty easy to get to, do you have access to the footage this needs to match with? Or will you be matching to whatever is created from Paris? Do you have a preference for weather / time of day?

Do you also have any idea of budget?

Best

Adrian
