Hi,
I projected my 16mm film footage and recorded it within the 4:3 zone indicators on the HVX. I recorded in 720p24. Essentially what I have now is a 4:3 film frame living inside of a 16:9 frame. There is extra space on the left and right. How in FCP is it best to crop these sides out and export it as true 4:3?
In checking my sequence information I can see that it is working at a frame size of 960X720 with a pixel aspect ratio of the same size. I've tried looking at the effect filters that FCP has to offer but I'm not sure that is where I should be looking. Any help is appreciated.
