Need to create a project in After Effects , and have no idea how

Ok this is for Green Screen work. All I need is some basic text, photos or even backgrounds.

I keyed out my subject easily and tried to apply a couple of different backgrounds and honestly all of the presets just do not match the look of the video at all.

I need some straight forward answers here on how I can achieve this, normally I would not even touch this kind of work but I need the money.

Someone please help

thanks

Green screening isn't just removing the green and adding a background. That's step one. You need to then color correct your footage to match the background. Add "levels" to your BG layer and start playing with that. Without knowing what you're looking at, I can't really give much more of a straight forward answer than that.

Yes I understand that, also I do not need it to be perfect just acceptable as this is for a music video and those scenes would not last more than 2-3 seconds.

Here's an example of something that I would like to have

Well, I think you're asking the wrong questions for this forum. It seems you're in need of conceptual/direction/design help rather than technical. If none of the presets are working with your footage, I'm assuming you mean by they aren't matching stylistically.

The video you posted is a combination of effects from masking to text effects, some compositing, good ol' keyframe animation, camera moves, etc. If you need help with any one part or effect, I'm sure plenty will help you out, but if you're at a loss for the entire piece then maybe you need to ask for some help with reimbursement because you might have bitten off more than you can chew.

To do what? You haven't posted anything from what you're working on. Show us what is not working. Also, word to the wise: you can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.

So when you say no one knows it works. I mean I thought I clearly posted what I was trying to do. I have my own mind and brain with unlimited art, the problem is just I do not know how to use the program.

Now you saying that I bit off more than I can chew, you are surely wrong. My whole life I have made it doing things that people never thought was possible. Obviously I have no idea how to use After Effects and was basically coming here for guidance on how people do certain things.

Lets say I have a subject who is already keyed out. I want to create a 3d scene with an object in the background and foreground. I seen youtube videos on how people did it but I just can't get it to work.

Also there is something else that I thought was really cool, the "puppet tool" basically animating a still pic. Problem is when I do this it warps the whole background and not just the object I want.

Regardless apologies if I am not explaining myself right, all I need is someone to guide me in the right direction so I can create my vision

thanks

The picture requires preparation in Photoshop. Create a layer with just the object. Clone/stamp the background where the object was. Save it as a photoshop document.
