Hey Starting shooting with a hvx200 in a couple weeks. For various reasons we have to stick to shooting on mini dv, assuming its the only way to shoot sd with the hvx200. I guess the main issue is we cant use the p2 card, i am assuming i cant shoot 720 with out that or an additional add on, which we cant afford.
A little new to the camera and the whole world of 24p.
Now as far as editing i have vegas platinum studio 9, so it doesnt do pull down, u have to edit and export 29.97.
Its a short film, in and out doors, minimal diy lighting. No dialogue, kind of an abstract ballet piece. Obviously id like a film look, so with all this just wondering if you have any suggestions.
We arent using any special lenses and adapters, using two actors and a moving camera style (steady cam).
