Hi all, my fs700, odyssey 7Q and rig will arrive in the coming weeks. But i've few question would like to ask and hear suggestion from you all.

1. Is there any useful plugin for FCPX or AE that can fix slow motion 200/240fps flicker? So far i know few of it but i'm not sure how effective there are for slow motion video, anyone have try any of them which work very well is most of the situation? Anyone using Digital Anarchy flicker free and Borix BCC flicker fixer? i know Furnace Core work very well, but it takes long time to render.

2. Anyone having any suggestion on using what software to convert their fs700 raw footage? Btw i'm using mac. I know davinci resolve can work but is there any other converter for mac?
Anyone using http://raw4pro.com ? How is it? It seem not bad but it is for window, wonder will they release a mac version. I do have parallel desktop install on my mac, but i would like to hear from you all before making any purchase.

I have not tried Flicker Free myself, but it's on my list of to-try here soon. According to their promo materials and videos, it handles slow motion flicker just fine - there's a couple de-flickered slow mo shots in the demo reel for the plug-in, actually.

They have a demo version on their website - maybe check it out and see if it works for your workflow.

Boris BCC Flicker Fixer comes bundled with Avid Symphony, so, I've used it in regards to Symphony/Media Composer. I recommend BCC, as it works well.

Tried the demo version but not with slow motion footage yet, need wait receive my fs700 this week or next week to test it out.

We've done a fair amount of testing with slow motion footage, including shots from a FS700, and Flicker Free has been tweaked specifically for high speed cameras (among other things). We've seen a number of high profile folks use it for that purpose with a lot of success, including CBS on some sports footage shot with a FS700. But, as always, download the free demo and see for yourself. The Avid and Resolve versions of Flicker Free should be out later this month. Currently it's just available for After Effects, Premiere, and Final Cut Pro 7/X. http://digitalanarchy.com/Flicker/main.html

Philip's tutorial only corrects very specific kinds of flicker, and can actually create ghosting in shots with extreme motion. His technique is simply a quick fix and not much more (though quite a handy one, in a pinch). Plug-ins like the ones listed below are isolating and correcting the affected areas of the frame in a much more refined way for many people's uses.
