GH1 Need some advice for a project

I will be shooting a 3 cam project in a month or so. I normally shoot with primes on my dslr, but I will have to use zooms on this one. Has any one come up with a good solution? The kit lens is a no go...too slow. I have tried an ENG lens on my GH1, but there is a blur around the edges except for a relatively small area in the middle of the zoom range. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any help.

I am shooting on sticks. I will be shooting from about 100' from the stage. There apparently is no getting around it. I need to get a full body shot but no closer. If possible, I would like to stay around $600 per lens.

Interior, exterior, daylight, night?

From my calculations a 140mm will give you around 12' 9" H & 7' 2" V FOV at 100'.
A 200mm around 8' 11" H & 5' V FOV at 100'.

Do yourself a favor and get something like the pCAM app to quickly figure out stuff like this.

All the Best!

I would rent instead. You can get three top-notch zooms for a weekend for less than $250. 70-200's might be enough, or there's always the 100-400.
