Hi,
I am in Chicago and working on a project that is mostly short interviews for a retrospective video for a 70th birthday.
The subject and his wife live in Boca Raton and the wife needs to be interviewed for the surprise video for her husband.
I am looking for someone preferably with a DVX 100A(B) to shoot a brief interview with the woman, and send me the DV tape of the footage. I would give you an idea of the look of it (though will be basic) and if not a script, a very detailed outline of what we want her to say, so some basic interviewing skills would be handy to have. Also, some lighting and external mic (hyper..., shotgun, lav) would be preferred to achieve best sound. I can also probably post a short snippet of an interview for someone to see what it will look like from my shoots, but again it will be very basic 3 point interview set up.
I can offer a flat fee of $200 and I don't imagine the actual interview would take any more than 20 minutes. So with setup and travel it could be 1-2 hours. Also, we will arrange to have it shipped to us at our cost (not included in your fee). When we have chosen the person for the job, I will coordinate when/where to do the shoot with you and the subject (note: the tape will need to be in my hand no later than 4/23).
If interested, you can email me at gregg (at) bigteethproductions.com - and give me a brief intro to the work you've done and if possible a link to some of it so I can view it.
thanks very much,
Gregg
