Need second camera for live events. Recommendations?

Currently for live events were using a HMC 150. We need a second camera that has HDMI out as well. Would a HMC 40 be a good option? I have read online that its not the greatest in low light... the camera will be mounted pointing at one of the stages so light may not be a huge issue but it does get quite dark at sometimes.

The hmc150 is great but I am just checking to see if there are any other options that may be cheaper or if it would be best just to buy a second one.

Thanks in advance.

look at the new Canon line. xf100, or even the xa-10, I think it is? but it's around 2k, small, xlr's, 1/3rd chip. and suprisingly good in low light. The auto focus is i'm guessing is 2x faster than the hmc150. Although it is cmos. Like almost all new cams are.

I think you would be best served to simply purchase a second HMC-150. It will make things easier when you want to match cameras, and used 150s can be had for a steal.

The HMC 40 is lousy in lowlight. I second looking at the Canon XA-10 (cheaper than the 40). I feel it's even a tad better than even the HMC150 in low light. I borrowed one for a job and it matched well with the Panny 150.
