Ok well me and a buddy are making a music video for this song tomorrow for fun.

Now for that kind of angry song, what scene file settings would you recommend? It's going to be a bunch of fast moving outdoor stuff and probably high shutter speed. Kind of looking for a dark look but i dunno. Probably going to also shoot some stuff in my garage with a powerful backlight so it'll be kind of a silhouette.

This one I made called "flashback" which sorta isn't as colorful and REALLY emphasizes the blacks in the picture. See how you like it:

Detail Level:0
V Detail Level: 0
Detail Coring: 0
Chroma Level: -7
Chroma Phase: +7
Color Temperature: +4
Master Pedestal: -15
Auto Iris Level: 0
Gamma: Black Press
Knee: High
Matrix: Normal
Skin Tone Detail: Off
V Detail Frequency: Mid
Progressive: Your Choice... I would go with 30p for a music video but on my camera it's set to 24pA... Hope this gives you a starting point... You may want to boost up the chroma level to maybe -5 instead for just a little more saturation...

It go with a crazy gamma like cine d and a matrix cine. If the dvx has those settings u might as well use em. And if you have a dvx, making something creative and you're not shooting 24pa why even bother with it having a dvx. those are the 3 reason besides professional controls and approval that I bought my dvx. I find that ****in with color temp can bring in a ton of gain even in sunlight. Good luck and long life the myth. Everyone will think it's hd, but it isn't and you don't have to spend more time compressing than actually editing. have fun

Scene file settings were the ones that andythefilmer posted.

24pA, 1/500 shutter, no ND filter, closed the iris a bit

Wow! That looks great!!! I was bored one day and I made that scene file up on my camera so I am glad it is being used! I can't wait till the full video comes out!

Give it 15 minutes and it'll be done processing on youtube lol.

The one i'm uploading right now to youtube isn't the "final" cut exactly but theres not much different on the updated ones after i rendered the one that's uploading.
