Need Rig or Whatever it is called to connect accesories to cam

[richke]

y wife bought me a zoom control for my HMC40 and I plan to buy an external LCD for it later thisyear but thought I could buy the "bracket" or whatever it is you use to help attach you exteral accessories to the cam.

I cannot for the life of me think of the name of this thing so that would help too I hope to connect...

LCD
zoom control
juicedlink external XLR box

Thanks,
Rich

Maybe you're thinking of a cage with a cheeseplate. This one from Jag35 looks alright but not sure if you need the handles.

if I need that thing I sure as heck do not want to pay $400 for it. Any alternatives. There was one person on here who showed his but I cannot find the post. And it just looked like two silver rails that look like it attached to the cam/tri pood and everything else attached to that.
