Hi, I'm a NYC Indy filmmaker. I'm looking to shoot in the coming weeks for a couple of days a trailer to help raise funds for a new script. This will be a low budget film - probably under 50 thousand. The script is called WHY DO YOU SMELL LIKE THE OCEAN? It's the story of a NYC Homicide Detective and his struggles with personal demons and various addictions. Think a bike collision between Scorsese and Tarkovsky
Though of course I'm neither of them. It's very gritty, raw, but also deals with spiritual issues. I'm attaching a link to my last feature: FLORA'S GARMENT BURSTING INTO BLOOM, which will be released on DVD in the fall. Shoot me any questions at kgreenfields@yahoo.com
I can pay a hundred bucks per day for the trailer. I know you can't buy a tuna sandwich for that these days...
Hopefully after working on the trailer we will both enjoy the collaboration and will continue on with the feature.
