need new laptop today

Okay computer dudes, correct me if I'm wrong but aren't most pc laptops more or less the same inside? Parts that say Seagate, Intel, Samsung etc? Isn't it more about the casing and price?

My Dell inspiron is about 18 months old. The keys are falling off, the screen flops around a bit, if it was a Lenova I bet I'd be in better shape.

It depends on who makes the parts and how cheap those parts are. Fujitsu makes all of their own stuff.

The guts are okay, the build quality blows.

In my experience seeing dell laptops at school, they get dropped, kicked, and abused to hell and still turn on, they might not be cosmetically perfect, but it will turn on.
