Need lighting person in NYC ASAP

Hey Guys,
I'm shooting a music video for a local rock band this sunday (1/30/05) in downtown Manhattan. The location is an old but working car elevator which we want to have the elevator moving up and down while we shoot. the light set up will take place on saturday to practice, and shoot on sunday. My lighting kit is basic, 3 lights 2 soft box 1 reflector a few gels and 2 or 4 club lights.

There will be food but no pay, sorry, really low budget.

Hey, milverdu. How much experience is required? I have very little experience, and am by no means a lighting guy, but would be willing to help out. (I can also bring a reflector or two, some blackwrap and maybe one or two other basic things like that). I'm just looking for experience, let me know if i can help out.

I also have a dvx, matteblox, a wide angle adaptor and mic and boom if b roll is necessary

I have experience lighting and will be comming back to NYC today, Saturday 29th.... depending at what time you are planning to test your lighting test for equipment and placements; I may be able to come and help around.

I already have Sunday the 30th booked so I can only come and meet you guys and help define and aesthetic if you have not done it yet.

Number Five: you mentioned that you where looking for experience; are you in NYC too? I will be collaborating in a short film, expected to be shot on March... if you are interested, get in touch with me.

Hey, RJ. Yup, i'm in NYC. I am definitely interested in the short film, and in the NYC DVX group. I've emailed you saying essentially the same thing. :)
