I'm shooting a weekly "talk show" Charlie Rose style, but sometimes there are 3 guest at the same time , I need some "affordable"lavalier microphone system.

I already own a G2 from sennheiser , so that takes care of one of the guest. Now for the other two , I was thinking about this :

What do you guys think ? A good purchase for the price ?

Thanks in advance ...

... and please disregard my bad English.

I'd stay away from that system. I've never been a fan of Shure's low-end wireless systems. I find the build to be rather clunky, the mic capsules poor-sounding, and the signal reception unreliable. Plus, you'd have to make sure that the Shure is compatible with your G2's frequency range.

To be honest, your best bet may be to spend roughly the same amount of money on two hard-wired lavs. Unless there's an absolute need to be wireless, hard-wired is mre reliable. Most of these news-interview programs don't have walking entrances anyway, just folks seated either in a semi-open space or around a table, so hiding the cables is not difficult.

If you absolutely must go wireless, you're always better off matching systems. Though the G2 has been discontinued, the G3 systems are compatible.

Thanks for your fast answer.

You are right , I can very well go hard-wired. Would you have any recommendation ?

I would need 3 microphones with roughly 500-600$ budget

thx
