I'm starting a new job which uses some HD footage from an HVX, but mostly DVX footage. The goal is to get two editing stations up and running. What we have so far is two MacBook Pros with Final Cut Studio 2 installed, and a couple different hard drives with lots of storage, but only with firewire 800. My suggestion is two External HDD with eSATA and two Bytecc eSATA Express cards for the MacBooks. Anyone have a better/different recommendation for ease of workflow. Oh its a documentary project so there is lots of footage ie lots of space is needed.
