Need HMC40 DB Settings for Merlin

I'm a part-time Steadicam op, and I'm covering a wedding next weekend using an HMC40 with the Merlin (w/ arm&vest), and due to a scheduling conflict, my setup time has been cut rather short, and I'd like to see if I could go into the job with the settings already written down.

Looking for all the numbers, weights, spar arc, etc. for a basic HMC40 with no added accessories. Dynamic balance only please.

Thanks!

Sorry, after looking at the specs of this camera I realized how unhelpful my information is, considering how many different configurations it can be put in without added accessories.

I'll have the full information by this evening, and maybe somebody can help me out then. Thanks!

It appears to be the standard configuration, with the matte box and handle, exactly as pictured in product pictures on Amazon.

The main thing I'd like to know is the number of weights for the best inertial balance and the approximate arc setting. I can fine tune the rest.

Thanks!

Use this, make flying shots, enjoy the party. Have some drinks don't worry It balances almost by itself

Do you rec the xtreme or the lite? I am using a rode mic, xlr and looking into adding a small lcd
I use the lite with the HMC40, Large battery, wideangle, 3.5 mic not xlr with the lite version. and that's it. this could be around 5 pounds and it works very well.
With your config, I think you need the extreme, however is good to know that the lite can take up to 5 pounds without problem

I have a Steadicam Merlin that I haven't used on my HMC40 yet, but I did use it on my old GL2.. I was eventually able to set it up pretty decently, but it seemed to require constant tweaking and was a pain to operate - And it would still rock from time to time. I have no doubt that with a lot of practice it can produce awesome results but I wish it was more intuitive, right out of the box. Seeing how easy it is to set up the Steadytracker makes me wonder if I should sell my Merlin and pick out one of those.. One thing I see that the Merlin does that the Steadytracker seems to no be able to do is that you can tilt the camera on the gimbal.. What do you folks think?

The steady tracker has not gimbal, thanks to that you can pan, tilt, rotate, no wind problems
