Need help!!

so since this guy wont help me can someone else please.

thanks
and not have a ****ing $600 price tag for 2 hrs work.

You mean 2 days of work at $600 which is a steal. Search the internet for tutorials. You can certainly learn how to do it yourself. If you don't want to do it yourself then you will have to pay professional rates if you want to hire a professional.

Possibly someone that has a lot of free time will do it for free/fun. Two things I've learned never work for cheap. Either charge full rates or do it for free pro bono.

In the meantime check out these links for learning.

This reminds me of the Picasso story. It goes a little something like this, and I'm paraphrasing here:

One day a woman saw Pablo Picasso sketching in the park and she approached him and said ‘Oh my god, you're Picasso, you must sketch my portrait’, to which he obliged. He studied her for a moment, then with one stroke sketched her portrait. She exclaimed ‘It's perfect! You managed to capture my essence in one stroke! How much do I owe you?’, he responded with, ‘Five thousand dollars’. The woman was shocked. ’Five thousand dollars! But it only took you a second to draw it’. To which Picasso replied , ‘No, madame, it took me all my life’.

Lindquist, you remind me of the woman.

Well, obviously you still don't get it. It doesn't matter how much time we spend on your project, what you're paying for is our years of experience and knowledge. If you want a hack job by someone that is inexperienced, then go pay a student. Hell, they'd probably do it for free. If you want something done by a professional, then don't whine about the cost. Furthermore, don't take what was said in a private message/conversation and post it to the public, i.e., “poo pooing $600 price tag”. That's highly unprofessional and, quite frankly, immature.

Two days at $300/day is definitely a steal for any 3D work, or at least for any 3D artist that values himself. Most run much closer to $600/day for quality work. Obviously you're not aware of this.

Josh was being very professional is his reply to you and I'm sure he was very professional in his PM to you. You decided to call him out and state "he won't help me", which makes it sound like he's screwing you or something. Then you whine like a woman when he justifies his cost and even provides you links to learn yourself! Seriously kid, what are you on? I would have told you to piss off, but you probably figured that out by now.
