I came across Petrol PRC rain covers for HVX which seems pretty decent. Did any of you ever used that? Do you guys have any suggestions?

Those raincovers are both really nice, and you definitely can't go wrong with Spec-Comm!
But for us it was a black portabrace rainslicker for us. We made special order to widen it in a couple places and extend the mic protection area. It is a PERFECT fit and awesome function.
It works so well in fact, we are just keeping it on full 98% of the time from here on out. I got it to protect from harsh elements, muddy trails, sea spray and sand as much as for rain.
Their service is four star all the way! May get some pictures and will be sure to post more details after we've spent some more time with it. It was worth every penny!
