NEED HELP WITH Settings for FCP and HMC150

Im new to the Hmc150 and setting up FCP for the hmc150. My question is when im putting clips into FCP whats EASY SETTING should be selected or what setting should i have it set at. I shot in 720/60 and will continue to shoot at that setup.

Any suggestions will help. Im getting overwhelmed with learning and searching all over the internet for help. Thanks
 
Why bother with the easy settings at all?

I simply go through Log & Transfer to capture the footage. When I create a new sequence I drop a sample video on to the sequence, at which point FCP asks me if I want to make the sequence the same as the footage - to which the reply is of course YES!

Done.
 
So FCP will automatically Log and Tranfer in the Best Quality from the Camera?. Also what setting do you recommend FCP be set at.

Easy Setup has nothing to do with Log & Transfer. Easy Set is to do with how the timeline sequences are configured, or how things are captured from tape - not memory cards.

In the Log & Transfer window click on the small gearwheel button at the top right of the media section to choose what codec to use. For 1080p use ProRes 422. If you are using 720p then you can use either ProRes 422 or ProRes 422 (LT). The (LT) version simply uses less bandwidth, but it's plenty for 720p footage.

Once that's selected you should not need to change it again.
