GH3 Need Help with My Rig

I currently own this for my GH3:

I have attached a Manfrotto plate on top of the bottom plate. I want to put the manfrotto plate on the bottom as well so I can easily slide the entire cage onto my tripod. I can't figure out what accessories I need to do this.

Also, what accessories do I need to add some arms so this can rest on my shoulder? Right now, I am holding it with the hand gribs and that doesn't relieve much of the weight/stress.

I appreciate your help. Totally new to rigs and DSLR cameras for video.

To get it onto a tripod all you'll need is a camera plate on the bottom of the rig.

I'm not a fan of these type of rigs for general work, but they are useful for some brief walking or handheld shots. I know they're marketed as cages, but that's a stretch as camera cages are typically form fitting, while yours is more like a Fig Rig.

The issue with these is all the weight goes on your arms, & I wouldn't bother building it into a shoulder rig as it will still be front heavy, so require extra mass at the rear to compensate. Instead keep it for what it's good at, & focus on a setup better suited for general use.
